Cost: $10 per scout/guest child

Includes: Slot Car Racing and Pizza Dinner!

Pack 142 invites all pack members and interested guests to attend our annual slot car racing event at Zeppelin Hobbies! Scouts will race on eight lane tracks and enjoy a pizza dinner!

Please RSVP by 10AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2019 as we need to provide Zeppelin Hobbies with a final count so that they can order the pizza in advance!

Zeppelin Hobbies sells supplies for the Pinewood Derby! This is a great opportunity to shop for any supplies you may need while enjoying slot car racing!

We are looking forward to welcoming new families and visitors that are interested in finding out more about Pack 142 to any of our events. You are welcome to invite any friends and families with boys that are Cub Scout age (grades K-5). Please be sure to RSVP to let us know you are coming and how many guests to expect.

If one or more friends of your Cub Scout join our pack, your Cub Scout and all new friends that they recruit will receive a “My Best Friend is a Scout” patch. Your Cub Scout will also be presented with a “Recruiter” patch.

Winter Skies

Please join Pack 142 at the Sheep Hill Observatory for the Winter Skies Event.

When: Sunday January 12, 2020 6:30pm – 7:45pm

Where: Sheep Hill Observatory 300 Ross Dr Boonton, NJ

Attire: Pack T-shirt

We have made reservations for a visit to the local observatory for a fun, educational evening of star and planet gazing! Please note this event is very much conditional on the weather – in the event the skies are not sufficiently clear, we will need to reschedule. So stay tuned for an update as the day approaches and please RSVP by Tuesday, January 7th.

Finally, note that the suggested donation by the observatory is $5/adult and $2/child. Please let us know if this is a problem. The attachment to this email contains more information.
