Just a reminder our Halloween themed pack meeting is tomorrow at 7pm at Glacier Hills. Costumes are welcome. Please RSVP if possible and don't forget to bring your popcorn papers!
Thanks!
Hi everyone! We will be working on the "Baloo the Builder" requirement. We will be working with wood to create a project. PLEASE BRING SAFETY GOGGLES, HAMMER AND POSSIBLY A SCREW DRIVER.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU RSVP SO WE CAN GET THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF WOOD KITS!!!!
We will be outside again! The area does have lighting but, feel free to bring lanterns or flashlights for better visibility. Face masks and social distancing are required!
Hi all – Please note the update to the meeting location for tomorrow's bike ride- it's 436 South St. in Morristown. Tomorrow's weather looks questionable – if it is raining, we will postpone and I'd let you know by 11:30am via email. Lastly, while the county normally has bike rentals available, they seem to have removed the bikes due to COVID-19.
Hope to see you there!
Steve
Please join us for Pack 142's fall bike ride! We will meet near the pavilion at the 436 South St. entrance to the Loantaka reservation. We will plan to go on an approximate 5 mile bike ride. Given the different abilities of all scouts, each scout will need an adult to supervise them.
Please join Pack 142 for our Lions Den meeting. We will be working on our King of the Jungle requirement.
Join us for our Fall hike! This year we will be doing a partial day time and partial nigh time hike and will hike to see the Mt. Tabor rock house that has some unique, local Native American history, including a petroglyph from c. 500BC-500AD. The hike is approximately 2 miles, but we will spend some time looking at the rock house and picking up garbage around the rock house for a community service project. It will be getting dark on the way home so please bring a flash light!
Location: Indian Rock Trail, Mt. Tabor, corner of East Morris St. and Dickerson (part on street or in parking lot below this location).
Time: 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Call me at 570-212-2036 if you have any issues finding us.
Thanks,
Steve
Please join our Lions' den meeting as we learn about community workers and what to do in an emergency. Also, please think about two energy saving projects the Scouts can do at home.
