Community Service – Food Pantry Collection

Dress Requirements: Full Scout Uniform

Community Service is a big part of scouting. We are all so generous during the holiday seasons, but for many people hunger is a daily problem. Food pantries are in desperate need of supplies during the summer months.

Please consider joining us on Saturday, July 15 at Stop and Shop of Morris Plains to collect food and supplies for the Interfaith Food Pantry. We are in need of four (4) scouts and two (2) adults per hour.

IMPORTANT
To participate (or help your child) in fishing each adult or person over the age of 16 must hold a NJ fishing license. Please click here for details and to purchase your license online.

We welcome new families and visitors that are interested in finding out more about Pack 142 to attend any of our events!
You are welcome to invite any friends and families with boys that are Cub Scout age (grades K-5). Please be sure to RSVP to let us know you are coming and how many guests to expect.

If one or more friends of your Cub Scout join our pack, your Cub Scout and all new friends that they recruit will receive a “My Best Friend is a Scout” patch. Your Cub Scout will also be presented with a “Recruiter” patch.

Please join Pack 142 at our Summer Rocket Festival!

Event Date: Saturday, August 5, 2017
Event Time: 2:00PM – 5:00PM
Event Location: Jannarone Park – 345 Walsh Drive, Parsippany (Located off of Cranberry Road and Walsh Drive)
Dress Requirements: Scout Uniform (for photo) and then Pack T-Shirt

Pack 142 is excited to announce that Cub Scouts visiting Pack 142 from China will be participating in this event. Please join us to help welcome them and to provide them with a great time!

Families need to bring their own Estes rockets and engines. Please also bring something cool to drink and a small snack. The Pack will provide the launching pads, launchers and a safe area to launch your rockets!

Pack 142 is excited to invite you to our annual Summer Pool Party and BBQ! Participants will enjoy a family style BBQ and time in the Glacier Hills pool! The pool will be available for use until 7:00PM – the evening will end with a campfire and marshmallows!

The Pack will provide hamburgers and hot dogs for all participants! We ask that each family bring a side dish or dessert.
