Rescheduling the Bear requirements, Please note I have cancelled this week's Thursday (Jan 16th) meeting as many of the den members won't be able to join.
Hi All!
Please join us for our Den's last hoorah at a camping trip overnight that will be aimed at having FUN. We can play games watch a movie on a projector, have a big fire, cook lots of great food, go on a hike, whatever the boys and parents want to do.
I rented a large newly renovated cabin with electric and most importantly a new central gas heating system. The cabin holds 20-30 people. There will be lots of firewood for us to keep warm outside too. It is across from the dining hall where the blue and gold luncheon will be. This will make it very easy for us to prepare and set up for Blue and Gold Luncheon.
*** Also, this will be an opportunity for your son to complete any outstanding requirements for the year. I will hold an elective requirement in the afteroon and be ready for any other requirements for you son has outstanding. **Please take this opportunity if your son still has outstanding requirements, even if you just want to stop by for the day and dinner :-).
I do very much so hope you can attend this camping event for us all to celebrate and enjoy our last formal outing with our Den. Thank you for all you do. I am very proud of our teams and our great scouts!
All the best,
Ian
