Please join Pack 142 at our Spring Camp Out!

Cost: Pack $10 per participant (to cover costs for food and the campsite)
Directions: Take Route 80 to exit 12 to Hope. Turn onto Route 519 north at blinking light. At third right, turn onto Shiloh Road. Approximately 1 mile, turn right onto State Park Road.
Campsite registration opens at 12:00PM on Saturday, June 4 and pack members are welcome to begin arriving at that time. We ask that those who arrive before lunch bring their own lunch (if you need suggestions, please let us know). Planned activities will begin around 1:30PM.
On Sunday, June 5, we are planning to provide breakfast at around 8:30AM and depart by 10:00AM.
Pack 142 will provide dinner, breakfast and some amazing fun! We ask that families bring tents and sleeping bags! If you have any special dietary requirements, be sure to email [email protected] by Wednesday, June 1, 2016 so that we are able to accommodate your request.
We appreciate that families have busy schedules and would like to accommodate as much as possible. If you are not able to join us overnight, we would still like to welcome you for our afternoon and evening activities on Saturday, June 4. The event starts at dusk and the organizers recommend arriving around 30 minutes before that time. Pack 142 should plan on meeting at around 7:00PM in full uniform.
This is an outdoor event. If there are any last minute changes due to weather, we will send a notification via email.

Hightlights include:

Existing scouts should wear their pack t-shirt! We will bring extras for new members or those who don’t have a pack t-shirt.
If your scout has already been provided with a boat, please ensure that you bring it to the meeting!
If you didn’t receive a boat kit OR if the boat is not complete, don’t worry! There will be time during the meeting for your child to build a boat or finish one that isn’t quite complete.
Important: The GHC Pool will be open tomorrow night. We will be using the GHC facilities, but NOT the pool.
We are looking forward to welcoming some new families and visitors that are interested in finding out more about Pack 142 to our meeting tomorrow night. You are welcome to invite any friends and families with boys that are Cub Scout age (grades K-5). Please be sure to RSVP to let us know you are coming and how many guests to expect.
If one or more friends of your Cub Scout join our pack, your Cub Scout and all new friends that they recruit will receive a “My Best Friend is a Scout” patch. Your Cub Scout will also be presented with a “Recruiter” patch.

While parents are attending training, Cub Scout age children (grades K-5) are invited to attend FREE archery, BB & fishing activities!

Pack 142 strives to provide a fun, rewarding and enjoyable program to all boys in our community.
