IMPORTANT
Please ensure your RSVP by 9:00AM on Monday, July 16, 2018 to ensure that we have enough materials (and ice cream) for everyone.
Pack 142 invites all scouts and their families to our Ice Cream Social. We will enjoy some ice cream and fun activities!
Note: Some activities will involve water and parents may want to bring a towel to dry their children before transporting them in the car.
We welcome new families and visitors that are interested in finding out more about Pack 142 to attend any of our events! You are welcome to invite any friends and families with boys that are Cub Scout age (grades K-5). Please be sure to RSVP to let us know you are coming and how many guests to expect.
If one or more friends of your Cub Scout join our pack, your Cub Scout and all new friends that they recruit will receive a “My Best Friend is a Scout” patch. Your Cub Scout will also be presented with a “Recruiter” patch.

Community Service – Food Pantry Collection

Dress Requirements: Full Scout Uniform
Community Service is a big part of scouting. We are all so generous during the holiday seasons, but for many people hunger is a daily problem. Food pantries are in desperate need of supplies during the summer months.
Please consider joining us on Saturday, July 21 at Stop and Shop of Morris Plains to collect food and supplies for the Parsippany Food Pantry. We are in need of four (4) scouts and two (2) adults per hour.

Event Date: Sunday, August 5, 2018
Event Time: 2:00PM – 5:00PM
Event Location: Parsippany Hills High School – Upper Fields – 20 Rita Dr, Morris Plains
Dress Requirements: Pack T-Shirt
Activities will include but are not limited to water rockets, stomp rockets and model plane flying! We will end the day by launching some Estes Rockets!
We need two-liter soda bottles for our water rocket activity!
Please save and bring any empty bottles with you to this event!
Thank you for your support!
Families need to bring their own Estes rockets and engines. Please also bring something cool to drink and a small snack. The Pack will provide the launching pads, launchers and a safe area to launch your rockets!

Individual "take order" sales begin on Saturday, September 8, 2018 – We will be holding an official kickoff on September 13, 2018 at our September Pack Meeting. All take orders are due by Thursday, October 18, 2018. We will be at Littleton School between 6:30PM and 8:30PM on October 18 to collect the forms.
If you are unable to submit your form by October 18, you must contact our Popcorn Kernel, Yohanny via email [email protected] OR phone 973-908-1085 to make alternate arrangements.
In an effort to make it easier to identify who is able to attend during each slot, we are using Sign Up Genius to collect registration information.

2. Scouts selling $115 or more will win a prize from CampMasters
3. Scouts selling $750 or more, get all of the above, AND they join the $750 Club winning an additional prize and $25 scout bucks
4. Scouts selling $1600 or more, get all of the above, AND a Free Week of Summer Camp at any of the PPC owned camps.
5. If your scout is one of the TOP 100 sellers in all of PPC, they will also be eligible for special Top 100 Club offers from PPC
6. Above and Beyond – Additional Prize: Sell over $6,000 and receive a $150 Gift Card or $150 Camp Scholarship; Sell over $6,500 and receive a $250 Gift Card or $250 Camp Scholarship; or Sell over $7,000 and receive a $350 Gift Card or $350 Camp Scholarship

Pack 142 is excited to invite you to our annual Summer Pool Party and BBQ! Participants will enjoy a family style BBQ and time in the Glacier Hills pool!
The Pack will provide hamburgers and hot dogs for all participants! We ask that each family bring a side dish or dessert.
