IMPORTANT
It is necessary for ALL participants to register their car prior to the race. Check in is available at the following times:
Tuesday, January 24, 2017 (6:30PM – 8:30PM)
Thursday, January 26, 2017 (6:30PM – 8:30PM)
 
Pack 142 provides one Pinewood Derby car kit to each registered scout as part of their annual dues. Additional Pinewood Derby kits can be purchased for $5 and can be used for registration in our sibling race. If your scout has not received his Pinewood Derby car kit, please email [email protected] or phone 973-437-6163 so that we can provide you with a kit as soon as possible.
 
Rough Cut – Sunday, January 8, 2017
Craig Mazur is hosting our annual “Rough Cut” in his garage on Sunday, January 8, 2017. This event is open to all participants of the Pack 142 Pinewood Derby but is by registration only. Please use TroopTrack to RSVP to a thirty-minute slot for each scout that would like to participate in the rough cut event.
 
Please ensure that you register your attendance for the Pinewood Derby check in via TroopTrack. All participants of the Pack 142 Pinewood Derby MUST pre-register their car prior to the race!

Dress Requirements: Scout Uniform

This is to allow enough time for all registered cars to race in the Pinewood Derby!
 
Pizza and snacks will be available throughout the evening at a small fee to cover the cost incurred by Pack 142.

Webelos Klondike

The Fishawack Klondike will feature special activities for Webelos Scouts.

Webelos will learn outdoor skills as they visit a series of “towns” in the Fishawack Klondike.  The skills will include Fire Building, Cooking, First Aid, Nature, and Orienteering.  And there may be an opportunity for the Webelos scouts to do indoor BB shooting too.

Scouts interested in attending must RSVP to Mrs. Wall (via email or this calendar) and confirm their attendance.  At least one additional adult will need to attend the Klondike with Mrs. Wall and the scouts (all parents are welcome to attend).  Please confirm your attendance BEFORE January 27th.

Cost is $5 per scout — all attending should bring a Brown Bag Lunch to eat during the event.

All attending need to dress accordingly for this OUTDOOR, all-day event.  If it is cold, wear layers and avoid cotton.  Hiking Boots of some kind will be required as well (no sneakers).
